I gave it a three star because the people that worked there are absolutely amazing but other than that, I find it quite disgusting that Dicks charges over retail on their Pokémon and trading cards if Life360 link games can charge $60 for an ETB. Why do you guys charge 80 life links is an actual secondhand marketplace I just find it really disgusting Dick’s Sporting Goods Would charge above retail on children’s items knowing the parents are gonna pay, whatever to get their kids what they want it’s not just disgusting. It’s flat out appalling and I wish people would really ban together and stop shopping at Dick’s just to prove a point because you guys already made billions of dollars off us you guys are supposed to be a reliable source to get a reliable product at a reliable Price and I know you can Sell it at retail and still make money because Walmart Target Best Buy Costco Lowe’s Home Depot all sell it at retail but you can’t I could see if it was something for adults or something, but it is mainly for kids

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one because it’s the second time I’ve had a pricing issue at this Dick’s Sporting Goods location. I purchased a fishing rod that rang up $10 higher than the advertised price, and I also bought three lures that were supposed to qualify for a buy-three-get-three-free promotion. The promotion wasn’t applied, resulting in another charge of nearly $33. In total, I was overcharged approximately $43. Brad, the cashier who helped me, was friendly, professional, and did a great job during the checkout process. I have no complaints about him. After I discovered the pricing errors, I called the store expecting what I thought would be a simple resolution—verifying the transaction and crediting the $43 back to the credit card I used. Instead, I was told by the manager on duty that she could not and the store policy required me to drive approximately 25 - 30 minutes back to the store to correct a mistake that was entirely on the store’s end. When I returned, Destiny processed my refund, but the bigger issue wasn’t the return itself, it was the fact that I had to spend an hour driving, along with my time and fuel, just to fix an error

The Pokemon section was expansive but extremely overpriced. I understand that Dicks needs to profit, but seeing as they are a retail store, they should sell their things at retail prices. I’m not just annoyed - if they were selling things for an adult hobby at way over MSRP I would be annoyed. But they are charging children hundreds of dollars to pursue their hobby. I’m genuinely appalled that they think it’s okay to overcharge little kids who were probably excited to come to Dicks after school and buy some Pokemon, only to realize that their parents see how unreasonable the prices are and decide a few Pokemon packs aren’t worth multiple days of work. Dicks probably plans to restock soon, and possibly even up the prices because they sold out. They are actively contributing to the inflation of cards, when selling for MSRP would help bring the market down and still make them reasonable amounts of profit. I assume they will have some UPC/SPCs soon, as that’s probably the biggest profit margin, and I encourage them to sell at msrp and bring the hobby back to an affordable price for children. Kids can’t afford 280$ for cards. DICKS MANAGEMENT, assuming you see this, I’m not saying you s

I was recently with my grandkids at the climbing wall for the first time, not their first time. I was astounded at how outstanding Randy was with my grandkids, 6 & 8. He knew their names, shoe sizes and temperaments- one is wild, the other a bit cautious. He knew how to effectively communicate with them in the way that each one needed it. He is firm in a very calm way and totally understands kids…. and of course climbing. What an asset he is to Dicks and the climbing wall. He absolutely makes the experience what it is- pure fun! Thank you Randy!
